Our company, “Task Lighting Ltd”, was incorporated in 2019 as “Gaming Solutions Limited”, by Peta Newbold, as a supplier of IT Hardware and Software for computer gaming and other IT interactive activities. Our continued success in this market soon led us to branching out into the supply of IT Systems across multiple industries with a focus on providing a one stop solution for all of our customers IT needs. During 2022, with an ever-increasing customer base, this allowed us to expand into providing procurement services across a wide range of products such as electronic components, FMCG Products, Machinery, Office equipment and an ever-expanding range of IT Hardware.
In 2025, we expanded our procurement services yet again to include domestic and Industrial lighting, CCTV, Access Control, Audio/Visual systems, 3D Printing systems and general consumables.
Due to this rapid expansion in our procurement services, and the arrival of a new Director and Shareholder, a decision was made to change the company name to “Task Lighting Ltd” in order to reflect our growing presence in this market and to relocate to larger premises to provide for our increased warehousing needs.
